My son was looking at the calendar today & yelled, "Mom, it's Children's Day!" He of course was expecting some sort of gift, just like we get on Mother's Day. I smiled & informed him that it was only Children's Day in Japan & Korea, then I gave him a big hug for being my kid & put him back to work.
I trust that each of us treat our children like it is Children's Day every day of the year, but go ahead & do something special for your child today. If you are Japanese or Korean & want to share what you do for Children's Day, send us a post...we would love to hear from you!
